Mold Development

SMTG’s mold department has a completed and independent industrial chain,from mold design, parts processing, workpiece testing, mold assembly, sample testing, mass production and maintenance. It ensures to provide customers with cost-effective and high-quality products.

The mold design department has more than 30 experienced engineers, equipped with various design software including Creo, Solidworks, CAD, UG and so on. They can carry out the preliminary project assessment, mold structure design, mold flow analysis, cost accounting, optimization and improvement in a quick manner.
The mold processing center has dozens of sets of imported processing equipment, such as CNC, wire cutting machine, spark discharge motor, punching machine, precision grinding and so on. The comprehensive processing accuracy of the system can reach 0.003mm, providing a good technical foundation for the maintenance and one million stable cycles of the molds.
As customers demand more accuracy of products, the requirements on mold injection, the first step of product size molding, are increasing as well. In order to ensure the accuracy of the mold, SMTG sets up a measuring room in the mold department, equipped with high precision measuring instruments including coordinate measuring machine with accuracy of 0.002mm, measuring microscope projector, micrometer and so on.
